Beermaker Objects to FDA’s Caffeine Ban
Do you think the FDA has gone too far?

In a new twist to the case against caffeine, the New York Times reported yesterday the story of a Massachusetts beermaker whose product–OK, so it’s called Moonshot 69–must change its formula or halt production.

“This is prohibition in 2010,” the company head, Rhonda Kallman, told the Times. “It’s devastated the company, and as a U.S. citizen, I’m just flabbergasted.”

The government is really putting it’s hands in private companies’ business. I mean, what’s next? Limiting fat or calories in fast food? Oh yeah. They already do that.
