Together Warmline Provides Callers Someone to Talk to About Addiction

Coming up with the right solution for an addiction problem can be a challenging task, particularly in the digital age where mountains of information can be found at the click of a mouse. While the Internet can provide a wealth of material (just try doing a Google search using words like “addiction,” “drug treatment,” or “gambling problem” and you will get results that number in the millions), it can be extremely difficult to extract the critical information you need to help you make important choices about how to deal with addiction, either your own or that of someone you know and love.

The Together Family Foundation, publisher of the Together newspaper and website, in its mission to educate and help people make sense of the crippling disease of addiction, has created the Together Warmline: a non-emergency, non-crisis, support and response service that assists callers in filtering through, understanding and making decisions about the options available to face the challenge of recovery from addiction. There is no charge for this service; no commitment to anything is called for; and every call is safe and confidential.

The Warmline is staffed by addiction professionals and recovering laymen with many years of experience in both the Professional and Self-Help approaches to recovery who are there to share with you their experience and knowledge about all aspects of addiction (Drugs, Alcohol, Food, Smoking, Gambling, Video Games, Internet, Sex, Shopping, Work). This is a free service and is not affiliated with any treatment program or other services. The Warmline is available Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm.

Do you have questions about addiction? Have you been wondering what to do? Would you like to talk about it with a knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful person? Call 212-532-1640 today.
