New York Times has an article today entitled: “Addiction Vaccine, Tantalizingly Close.” But before the addiction community gets all riled up, know that it refers to narcotics not alcohol and that if you get vaccinated for one narcotic, it doesn’t prevent moving on to another one.  It may eventually impact the physical aspect of addiction recovery, but it is not going to effect the spiritual and emotional component.
